We'd like to roll out the next Healthy Habits Challenge for our Travel Players: The VEGETABLE Challenge!!
Veggies have more vitamins and nutrients than any other food and should make up a high percentage of our overall diet each day. Athletes need vegetables to feel and perform their best. The goal should be to eat a variety of colors when it comes to vegetables whether they are raw or cooked. The challenge is for the athletes to eat at least 3 servings of vegetables (1 serving = 1/2 cup cooked or 1 cup raw) per day. For this challenge corn and potatoes will NOT count towards that total.
This is another, on your honor challenge. You either do it every day or you don't. The challenge will run the month of January. ONLY the kids whose parents email us January 29th or 30th are eligible to win.
Parents, send an email to Austin@fusefitnesscoaching.com on January 29th or 30th with your player's name, grade and team.
Prizes will be handed out February 3rd and 4th at skills.
1st-2nd Grade Advanced Session begins next week!
